What's a good way to prevent heat damage?

"Always, always spray on a heat protectant before you style your hair," says Amber. It adds a barrier between your strands and the hot tool, nourishing moisture as well. Amber recommends Retain.

Help! My waves are always frizzy.

"Hair oil is like magic and won't weigh down even fine hair, says Amber. She likes Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil. A little goes a long way. Just rub in a few drops or use a bit of leave-in conditioner instead.

How do I get great second-day waves?

The trick is to keep them neat as you sleep. "Before bed I'll do a loose ballerina bun, or I'll pile curls on top of my head with a little claw clip," says Amber. "Then I touch them up in the morning with my curling iron." Add product if needed.
