The countdown to Thanksgiving is on! And that means it's time to start baking your favorite holiday pies.
While some people like to stick to the classics (ahem, pecan and pumpkin), others might be looking for some creative fruit pies or crowd-pleasing slab pies to really switch things up. But what do The Pioneer Woman readers really want for their Thanksgiving dessert spread?
ThePioneerWoman.com's recent Instagram poll revealed which slice of pie is best. Okay, okay… so it's hard to define "best" when you're talking about pie (they're all delicious, right?), but the result from this survey shows a clear winner in the great pie debate!

The results show… pumpkin pie is the holiday favorite! Though with 35% of the vote, it wasn't exactly a landslide win. A close second place went to Ree Drummond's favorite—pecan pie—with 27% of the vote. Following behind that is apple pie (24%) and chocolate pie (14%). Sorry, Ladd.
But here's the thing, there's room on the holiday table for each and every one of these pies! So go ahead and make your favorites—and don't forget to add a dollop of whipped cream on top!
