Easter is one of those holidays that comes with a flurry of activities. For the Drummond family, "Easter Sunday is like a mini Christmas in our house," Ree says. Their day is packed with Easter traditions like attending church, hunting for eggs, and opening Easter baskets. And then there's Easter brunch! How does she juggle it all? Well, it takes planning and plenty of make-ahead Easter recipes.

Prepping an Easter menu ahead of time saves you a ton of time on the big day so you can actually enjoy the time with your family and friends. But it also saves on oven space if you've got a lot to serve, and let's be honest, it helps with all that cleanup, too. Saving yourself from having to wash all those prep bowls while guests are over is a gift all in itself. So skip the holiday stress and consider all the recipes you can make one, two, or even a week before the big day!

So what can you make in advance that every bunny will love? Think: make-ahead breakfast casseroles, quiche recipes that can be served hot or lukewarm, homemade muffins that double as a early-in-the-day dessert. You can even make ham in the slow cooker and have it ready no matter what time you plan to dine, along with spring salads as Easter side dishes. Oh, and don't forget the hot cross buns! They're a Drummond family classic.
