Ingredients
- 24 oz.
cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup
dried cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups
sugar
- 1 cup
cranberry juice
- 3 Tbsp.
lime juice (from 3 limes)
- 1/2 tsp.
kosher salt
Directions
- Step 1Combine the fresh or frozen cranberries, dried cranberries, sugar, cranberry juice, lime juice and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the liquid starts to thicken, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Step 2Remove the pan from the heat and let the sauce cool completely, about 2 hours. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
Make-ahead tip: Make the sauce up to 3 days in advance; let cool, then refrigerate in an airtight container.
