Loaded Holiday Cookie Mix

Ingredients

For the mix:

  • 1 1/4 cups

    all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup

    granulated sugar

  • 1/2 tsp.

    baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp.

    kosher salt

  • 1/3 cup

    red and green sprinkles

  • 1/3 cup

    packed light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup

    red and green M&M's 

  • 1/2 cup

    semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/3 cup

    crisp rice cereal

For the cookies:

  • 1

    jar Loaded Holiday Cookie Mix

  • 1

    stick salted butter, softened

  • 1

    egg

  • 1 tsp.

    vanilla

Directions

  • To assemble the jar:

    1. Step 1Whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda, and kosher salt together.
    2. Step 2In a 1-quart jar, layer the flour mixture (divided into thirds and layered between the other ingredients), sprinkles, brown sugar, M&M's, chocolate chips, and crisp rice cereal.
  • To make the cookies:

    1. Step 1Prep time: 10 minutes. Total time: 40 minutes. Makes 18 cookies.
    2. Step 2Beat 1 stick salted butter (softened) in a large bowl with a mixer until light, 1 minute. Add 1 egg and beat until smooth, 1 minute. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla; beat until combined. Add the Loaded Holiday Cookie Mix; mix until the dough comes together. Scoop 18 spoonfuls of the dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Chill 15 minutes. Bake at 350 ̊ until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes.
