I’m obsessed with fig jam—it tastes so good with cheese! Try it on these easy toasts, or put some on a pizza with arugula and prosciutto.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup
olive oil
- 1/2
baguette, sliced 1/2 inch thick (about 16 slices)
- 2 Tbsp.
fig jam or preserves (or you can use plum or apricot preserves)
- 4 oz.
blue cheese, crumbled
Small fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Directions
- Step 1Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add half the baguette slices and toast until golden and crisp, about 4 minutes per side. Repeat with the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil and baguette slices. Allow to cool.
- Step 2Spread each piece of bread with a little fig jam or preserves. Top with the blue cheese and garnish with basil.
