Ingredients
- 1/2
large honeydew melon, chopped (about 5 cups)
- 1/3 cup
fresh lime juice (from about 3 limes)
- 1/2
small seedless watermelon
- 1 L
lemon-lime soda, chilled
Directions
- Step 1Puree the honeydew in a blender until smooth. Pour into a large liquid measuring cup or bowl and stir in the lime juice. Chill at least 4 hours or until ready to serve.
- Step 2Meanwhile, use the small side of a melon baller to scoop 16 watermelon balls. Thread the balls onto 8 small skewers (2 balls each) and chill, covered, until ready to serve.
- Step 3Pour the soda into a pitcher. Slowly stir in the honeydew puree, waiting for the foam to subside before adding more. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish each with a watermelon skewer.
