Creamy whipped feta is the cool, easy, no-cook party dip that should anchor all of your summer spreads. The perfect addition to a mezze platter or charcuterie board, it pairs well with all different kind of veggies, chips, crackers, nuts, olives and dried fruits. With only five ingredients and five minutes of prep, it's perfect for any host!

What kind of feta is best for whipped feta dip?

It's best to use a whole block of feta for this dip, preferably packed in a liquid brine. The wet brine keeps the feta moist and will allow for a smooth and creamy dip when blended. A block of feta that is not packed in brine is also good to use but try to steer clear of feta crumbles. These crumbles have a dryer texture and will be difficult to puree super smooth.

What is the best way to store feta dip?

For the airiest version of whipped feta dip, it is best to serve it on the day that is made. It can be held in the refrigerator for up to three days, though the dip will settle slightly and become a little bit more dense. To revive its airy texture, transfer the dip to a bowl and mix it with a rubber spatula to lighten.

How can I top feta dip?

Feta dip needs little more than a drizzle of olive oil or sprinkle of black pepper to finish, but it is also a blank, white (literally!) canvas for many other things. Top with chopped olives for added brininess, or fresh herbs like mint or parsley. Nuts, such as pistachios or almonds, add crunch, while a drizzle of honey will satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth.
