Lemonade Floats
There's nothing more refreshing on a hot day than an icy glass of lemonade topped with sorbet!

Ingredients
- 1 cup
sugar
- 10
lemons, plus sliced lemons for garnish
- 1
pint lemon sorbet
Directions
- Step 1For the simple syrup: Heat the sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool.
- Step 2Juice the lemons; you should have a bit more than 1½ cups lemon juice. Pour the lemon juice into a pitcher and add 6 cups cold water and 1 cup of the simple syrup.
- Step 3Pour the lemonade into glasses and top each with a scoop or two of lemon sorbet. Garnish with lemon slices.
