Dr Pepper fans, listen up: Tic Tac, the venerable breath mint brand, just hinted on social media that a big new collaboration may be headed your way. In their new Instagram post, you see a stunning new reveal with the caption "Somebody call a doctor!! Something big is about to drop…" and with Dr Pepper responding, "you rang?? 👀"
So what exactly is it? Well, rumor has it that Tic Tac is releasing a limited edition Dr Pepper flavor. And not only that, the little candies will be shaped like miniature Dr Pepper cans! So not only can you get the one-of-a-kind flavor of your favorite soda in a little bite-sized mint, but it'll look just like the stuff you sip.
This wouldn't be the first time there was a new Dr Pepper release with tons of fanfare. Dr Pepper fans (even if they're purists like Ladd Drummond!) are always intrigued by a new way to savor their beverage of choice. There is currently a lot of buzz around their new blackberry flavor, there are Peeps for Easter, and in the past, they've even had an ice cream with Blue Bell.
So, Dr Pepper-flavored Tic Tacs don't seem that crazy of collab, but super exciting nonetheless! And there's already a lot of sugary buzz in the comment section:
"My 2 fave things in one?! 🤯🤯🤯" says one super fan.
"This is a must try," chimes in a poster.
"Pretty please," begs another.
What the announcement doesn't reveal is when the collaboration will hit or where it will be sold just yet. And (this is a BIG "and" here!), a reminder that it is April 1 today. So it could be real or it could just be a very big (or you could say very little) April Fools' Day prank. Guess you'll just have to wait and see...
