A year has gone by since Yellowstone costars Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison made it Instagram official, letting the world know that they were dating.
In April 2023, Bingham posted a photo of himself and Harrison sharing a kiss, admitting that it was "more than a spark đ„" between the two. Yes, fans were pleasantly surprised by this news. (Just read the comments under that post.)
Fast forward to May 2024, and the the two lovebirds have officially married!
Bingham and Harrison play Walker and Laramie on Yellowstone, one of the many couples on the Western-show. It looks like they weren't just "acting" after all, because it was just reported that the two tied the knot.
Speaking to Vogue about both their relationship and wedding, Harrison gave more insight into that special moment when her now-husband proposed. (Spoiler alert: he had to do it twice!)
âRyan had been unusually quiet all night, and I could see he was visibly nervousâwhich was out of character for him,â Harrison tells the magazine about a seemingly regular night at home. âThen, out of nowhere he broke the silence and said, âI want to ask you to marry me, but only if you say yes.â I didnât hesitate a moment before telling him I would. Itâs true what they sayâwhen you know, you just know.â
Harrison then goes on to say how Bingham "secretly" called her father afterward to ask for his blessing, before going on to formally propose to her (again) over wine and steak.
From there, it was wedding planning time!
When the day finally came for the two, it was one full of love, family, friends, and lots of Western (but also "elegant") decor.
"There was a palpable sense of love and energy in the air, a kind of magic that's hard to describe," Harrison said. "Seeing generations from both sides of our families, our friends, and especially the children all coming together was such a blessing."
It's stories like this that really get us going. Here's to a lifetime of happiness for the newly weds!
