Will there be a Lawmen: Bass Reeves season 2?
It has not officially been confirmed if Lawmen: Bass Reeves is coming back. However, the show as a whole is an anthology series. So, while we don't know fully how that will tie into the future of the series—it was intended for every potential season of the series to cover a new lawman.
"The idea, going forward, is to have other lawmen in history whose story should be told, who haven’t been told, to have the opportunity to tell those stories," Oyelowo said to The Hollywood Reporter. "I think there is a feeling, which I very much resonate with, that there is real potency and interest in telling stories of this nature about those who, for whatever reason, fell out of history unjustly. I’m a producer on those going forward; so, the idea is to keep the good work going."
What will Lawmen: Bass Reeves season 2 be about?
Director of Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Damian Marcano, hasn't confirmed any sort of plot for the show's unconfirmed second season. Again, since it is an anthology series, we may see it outlined in a similar fashion to the first season, just with a different subject. But, as always, we'll update here as we find out!
