Beetlejuice is back! For those who waited (what felt like an eternity) for the return of everyone's favorite bio-exorcist, the theatrical release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was a welcome treat. Specifically, a treat that opened at the domestic box office with $111 million, making it the third-highest debut of the year.
Tim Burton's ghost with the most made his grand reappearance in theaters on September 6, conjuring up all the ghoulish humor, haunted happenings, and '80s nostalgia that the original film is known for. The eagerly anticipated sequel to the cult classic returns to the first film’s setting, where the Deetz family once again sets "The Juice" loose while cleaning out their attic following the death of the patriarch.
In Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the great Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder reprise their roles as Betelgeuse and Lydia Deetz, with Catherine O’Hara returning as Delia Deetz. Fear not, Beetlejuice fans! Streaming the new movie doesn't involve a séance. After just a month on the big screen where it resurrected the box office for Warner Bros., you can officially experience the macabre mayhem of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice right on your own TV.
The film is currently available for digital streaming via premium video on demand, which includes services such as Prime Video, AppleTV+, VUDU, and Google Play. With those services, you can either purchase or rent the movie. Purchases range from $24.99 to $29.99 while rentals (which you have 30 days to start watching, then 48 hours to finish once you've started) range from $19.99 to $24.99.
But if you want to stream Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on a streaming service (that doesn't involve renting or buying the movie), you might want to grab a spot in The Neitherworld Waiting Room. There's no official streaming date, but since it's a Warner Bros. film, it will eventually make its streaming debut on Max alongside the original film. According to Forbes, the earliest Beetlejuice Beetlejuice could premiere on Max is early November 2024.
