There are two types of people on Halloween: those who pour hours into an intricate Halloween costume and those who simply throw on a witch hat and call it a day. No matter which group you identify with the most, this eerie exercise is for you!
The most recent Halloween-themed brainteaser dropped by Dudolf (aka Gergely Dudás) surrounds a coven of witches dressed in cute cloaks. Like the fish brainteaser he released in the summer, this one involves finding the witch that's unique from the rest. For those of you who pour your heart and soul into the small (but mighty) details of your costumes each October, spotting the differences in this puzzle will be light work. It's the perfect Halloween activity to chip away at while watching your favorite Halloween movies!
A quick look at the image will show you a variety of different expressions and outfits adorning the witches. Try not to focus on the various wide grins and smiles, but rather on the cloaks patterned with circles, stripes, zigzags, and spiderwebs. The goal of this seek-and-find is to determine which witch has a cloak that's unique from all of the others. Most of the witches have at least one coordinating costume in the crowd, except for one sneaky sorceress!
Now that you know the premise of the puzzle, you'll want to put your thinking hat (or witch's hat) on and buckle down. If you want to up the stakes, wind up your timer and set it off before you start your search.
This brainteaser differs from Dudolf's other aesthetically-pleasing puzzles because you'll need to locate the object and then compare it with the others, making it a bit more time-consuming.
And while there's no magic spell that can give you the answer, you can always rely on a hint! Here's one: the witch you're looking for is wearing stripes of some sort. That should help clear things up.
Has anyone spotted it yet?
Here’s another clue: the witch in question is smiling with her teeth.
That should have made your search much simpler. Go ahead and give it another go!
Twitching for the solution? Maybe you've found the coveted cloak, or perhaps you're still searching. Either way, you can check out the solution video below. And don’t fret—this one most likely bewitched the masses.
Until next time!
