It's clear that the long-awaited Broadway musical adaptation of Wicked reached new heights last week when it was first released. And the buzz around Ariana Grande (who plays Glinda the Good Witch) and Cynthia Erivo (who plays Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West) is rightly deserved. So, it's no wonder the folks over at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade asked Cynthia to perform during the holiday celebration.

Not only is Cynthia the star of the new Wicked movie, but she's also known for being an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-award winner who gained praise for her roles in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple and in movies such as Widows and Harriet.

But while many people consider Cynthia's accolades and big vocals to be of massive proportions, the powerhouse singer isn't as tall as you might think. In fact, Cynthia and her co-star Ariana Grande are the same height.

Cynthia is believed to be 5 feet and 1/2 inches tall, according to IMDB. In comparison, Kristin Chenoweth, who originally played the role of Glinda in the Broadway musical, is just 4 feet 11 inches tall, while Idina Menzel, the original Elphaba, is the tallest of the bunch at 5 feet 6 inches tall, according to IMDB.

Though petite in size, there's no question just how hugely talented these stars are. So much so, that you might even say they defy gravity!
