Wedding bells are ringing over in the town of Virgin River... or are they? The latest trailer for Virgin River season 6 is full of slow dances, snowflakes, and ivory gowns, teasing the long-awaited wedding of Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson). But as fans of the show have learned over the past five seasons, everything—including the happy couple at hand—is not always what it seems. While the outcome of season 6 remains grey, if there's one thing that's stark white, it's Mel's wedding dress, which was revealed in the explosive trailer!
As if the sneak peeks of the wedding preparations in the season 6 teaser that Netflix dropped in October weren't enough, the official two-minute trailer gives viewers an even closer look at the season of love ahead. That includes a glimpse of the duo's bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinner, and even more romantic moments.
"I've spent so many years wishing things hadn't happened the way they have," Mel says. "But the end of one love story can be the beginning of another."

If you didn't catch the dainty details of Mel's wedding look in the trailer, the season 6 promo poster can surely fill in the blanks. Her bridal look includes a strapless gown made of layers of floral lace and mesh, topped off with a gauzy, floor-length veil.
"Wow," says Jack when faced with his white wedding dress-clad wife-to-be.
Whether or not the father of the bride will play a role in the wedding is up in the air, but you can expect to see Mel's dad—or at least a younger version of him (Callum Kerr)—in fiery flashbacks alongside her mom (Jessica Rothe). Speaking of love stories, the trailer also teases developments between Brie (Zibby Allen) and Mike (Marco Grazzini ), as well as Kaia (Kandyse McClure) and Preacher (Colin Lawrence).
Potential parents Denny (Kai Bradbury) and Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) will also reprise their roles in Virgin River season 6, as well as Doc (Tim Matheson), Hope (Annette O’Toole), Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth), and Cameron (Mark Ghanime).
Mel and Jack may be having a springtime wedding, but you won't have to wait for the seasons to change to watch the upcoming season. All ten episodes of Virgin River season 6 premiere on Netflix on December 19. Until then, catch up on the first five seasons and any Virgin River lore you may have missed!
