Eggs might still be hard to get, but one thing's for sure: there's no shortage of snacks, thanks to beloved grocery store Trader Joe's. And now, with the exciting news that Trader Joe's is opening 21 new stores across 13 states, there's even more to look forward to! This is especially true for those in Ree Drummond's home state of Oklahoma, as its capital city will finally get it's own Trader Joe's. Think cult-favorite snacks like soup dumplings, peanut butter cups, Mandarin orange chicken, and more, right at your fingertips.
Trader Joe's announced its upcoming expansion in April, following the opening of two new stores in Tennessee and Washington earlier this year. The California-based chain currently has 581 stores across 42 states and Washington, D.C., according to its website. The only states still waiting for their first locations are Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Mississippi, and West Virginia.
Curious about where exactly Trader Joe's plans to open its doors, in Oklahoma City and beyond? Keep reading for an inside look at where new Trader Joe's stores are expected to open! And until then, you can use the chain's handy store finder to help locate any Trader Joe's already in your state.
