The Yellowstone universe is expanding once again, and this time it's bringing a fresh face to the Dutton's new frontier. Actor Logan Marshall-Green has officially joined the cast of Y: Marshals, the upcoming spinoff of Taylor Sheridan's hit Western drama, starring Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton.

Y: Marshals picks up after the events of Yellowstone's final season, where Kayce has stepped away from the Dutton Ranch and joined a specialized U.S. Marshals unit operating in Montana, blending his Navy SEAL background with a new sense of duty and justice. The show will follow this elite team as they tackle crime in the modern American West.

Marshall-Green, who recently stole scenes as the charming gardener Adam in And Just Like That…, will take on the role of Pete Calvin, a military friend of Kayce's. The two characters will reunite in a high-stakes new chapter that trades ranching for law enforcement.

Known for roles in Upgrade, The Invitation, and Prometheus, Marshall-Green is no stranger to playing layered characters in intense situations. His character, Pete, is expected to be a key figure in Kayce's new world—likely blending camaraderie with conflict as the two navigate their past and the dangerous work ahead.

Y: Marshals comes from MTV Entertainment Studios and will be executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Luke Grimes, and showrunner Spencer Hudnut. The series will premiere on CBS midway through the 2025-2026 broadcast season on Sunday nights—and is shaping up to be a must-watch for both longtime Yellowstone fans and newcomers alike.
