- Billy Bob Thornton revealed Demi Moore didn’t remember working with him on Indecent Proposal.
- The two shared the story while reflecting on their long careers at a Landman FYC panel in June 2025.
- The story comes just as Landman season 2 was announced for November 16, 2025.
Hollywood has plenty of reunion stories, but this one between two Landman stars is especially funny.
During a Landman panel earlier this summer, Billy Bob Thornton reminisced about the first time he and Demi Moore crossed paths. It was back in 1993 on the set of Indecent Proposal, where Moore was leading the film alongside Robert Redford and Woody Harrelson—and Thornton had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it part. The role was so small that Moore has since admitted she needed a reminder about it, which is a detail Thornton loves to poke fun at her for. "She didn't remember me," he revealed.
Of course, their story didn't end there. Over the years, Thornton went on to work with Moore's then-husband Bruce Willis on several films, which meant Moore and Thornton finally got to know each other properly. Now, all these years later, they're back on screen together in a much bigger way, starring in Taylor Sheridan's Landman as Tommy Norris and Cami Miller.
The characters they play are a far cry from their early Hollywood days. Thornton's Tommy Norris has gone from roughneck landman to reluctant oil executive, while Moore's Cami Miller has stepped into her own powerful role after the shocking death of her father, Monty Miller, at the end of season 1. Their uneasy partnership is one of the show's most intriguing storylines, full of loyalty tests, family complications, and plenty of tension in the boardroom.
And fans won't have to wait long to see where it all goes next! Paramount+ recently announced that Landman season 2 will premiere on November 16, 2025. The new season promises more cartel drama, corporate clashes, and high-stakes battles deep in the heart of West Texas. Along with the returning cast, Sam Elliott is joining as a series regular, which will bring even more grit to Taylor Sheridan's oil-soaked universe.
If season 1 proved anything, it's that Landman knows how to keep viewers guessing. Between shocking deaths, fiery explosions, and complicated relationships, it quickly became one of Paramount+'s biggest hits. Now, with Thornton and Moore front and center, season 2 looks set to raise the stakes all over again!
