Brooke Elliott was the star of the hit show Drop Dead Diva, and has appeared in TV movies like Furst Born and Crazy Wonderful.
4Justin Bruening as Cal Maddox
NetflixCal used to play professional baseball during his prime, and uses his knowledge of the sport to coach the town's high school baseball team. He meets Maddie when one of her son's joins the team. Things get a little... awkward when Cal and Maddie develop feelings for one another. Cal proves to be a man with many layers as secrets from his past unveil as the show goes on.

5Chris Klein as Bill Townsend
NetflixBill is Maddie's infamous ex-husband, who we immediately are introduced to as a cheater. His actions have strained his relationship not only with Maddie, but the three children he shares with her. Though it doesn't seem likely that Bill and Maddie will ever get back together, it's clear that his storyline is far from over: We see him try to re-strengthen his connection with his kids and navigate fatherhood all over again with his newborn daughter.
You might know Chris as Oz in the American Pie movies, but he also had roles in TV series like Welcome to the Captain, Wilfred and The Flash.
6Chris Medlin as Isaac Downey
NetflixIsaac shares a love for cooking with Dana Sue, who he learns the ins-and-outs of the kitchen from. Isaac was pretty secretive at first, but we later learned that his questionable antics were due to him trying to find his birth parents. Once the Sweet Magnolias found this out, they banned together to help Isaac along his journey.
Chris is another cast member who has roots in Broadway shows, appearing in works like Mean Girls the Musical.

7Anneliese Judge as Annie Sullivan
NetflixAnnie is Dane Sue's daughter. The teen has some fire to her—which we see in the interactions she has with her mom. Ultimately, however, Annie has a big heart, which she learns to use when she is met with young love, heartbreak, and newfound friendships.
Anneliese is an up and coming actress whose first major role is in Sweet Magnolias.
8Carson Rowland as Tyler Townsend
NetflixTyler (who often goes by Ty in the show) is Maddie's oldest teenage son. He's a star high school baseball player, and is hoping to get a college scholarship for playing the sport. He's responsible for his age, and has to make many big decisions for himself and his family, including younger siblings. We see Tyler face an unfortunate injury in season 2, which impacts his ability to play for his team.
This isn't Carson's first time in a series. He has roles in American Housewife, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and Ghost Tape.

9Logan Allen as Kyle Townsend
NetflixKyle is the youngest son of Maddie and Bill. He's deemed as different from the rest of his family due to his love of musicals and acting. Unable to relate to his father (who loves sports) and his athletic brother, he finds solace in confiding in Noreen—which makes things a bit awkward for everyone at first.
Logan has had a few guest roles before his time on Sweet Magnolias, appearing in the shows Talia in the Kitchen and Creepshow.
10Bianca Berry Tarantino as Katie Townsend
NetflixKatie is the only daughter and youngest child between Maddie and Bill. She's a spunky toddler who will make you melt with her adorable one-liners and her wild antics.
Bianca may be young, but this isn't her first time behind a screen! She had minor roles in the series Swamp Thing, NCIS, and The Gifted.
