If you don't already know, Ree Drummond recently proclaimed that her newest dinnerware pattern Agatha "could be my favorite PW pattern of all time." Now that's certainly saying something given the dozens of gorgeous options she's released over the last decade of The Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart.
Agatha is actually one of two new sets she released in recent months. The other, Colette, is solid with a vintage-inspired scalloped design and light glaze. They both come in a jade green and a denim blue, now available online and in store. And best of all? "They layer so beautifully together," Ree says. Yes, you can mix and match them!
To show you how she layers them, Ree took to social media with a new video. Warning: Do not watch it if you're starving! Because not only do you get to see both colors and both patterns in action, you get some of the most scrumptious shots of freshly made pancakes and pasta alla vodka (which she jokingly refers to as penne all Betsy, named after her sister who appears in the video with her).
You can see that when you layer a Colette plate in between plates and bowls of Agatha, the delicate transferware-inspired pattern and calming colors really shine. Can you picture setting your Easter dinner table like this? Talk about stunning! Though just as a reminder, they are all dishwasher safe. So they may look fancy displayed together, but they really are meant for everyday use.
Ree hinted that in the fall, there will be more colors available, as part of her larger release of new items in honor of her 10th anniversary. And if you watch the whole video, you also get a glimpse of another new release: the new Pioneer Woman logo! There is so much to come in 2025, so be on the lookout. In the meantime, why not try out some mixing and matching of your own?
