The Pioneer Woman's husband, Ladd wears a lot of (cowboy) hats. He is a determined rancher, keen businessman, steak-grilling pro, movie fanatic, and Ree's sweaty sweetie. But Ladd's most important job is simple: being a dad.
Alex, Paige, Bryce, Todd, and Jamar know they can always count on Ladd to be in the stands at their games, give a great speech during life's biggest moments, and keep up with them on the slopes in Colorado. And Ree, of course, loves Ladd for doing all of those things, and a whole lot more!
The Drummond family always shows Ladd a little extra love on Father's Day—and this year was no exception.
Ree kicked off the tributes by posting a series of throwback and recent photos of Ladd and their kids to her Instagram story.
She started by re-sharing The Pioneer Woman Magazine's adorable throwback photo of a young Ladd and Todd.
She continued the throwbacks with one of Ladd holding Alex as a baby. "Ladd the new dad," she wrote. "(Almost) 25 years ago..."
"Ladd and the boys" were up next. How cute is this pose?! "Maybe three years ago?" Ree captioned the photo. "I don't even know what year it is now, so how can I even be sure. 😂" Honestly, same, Ree!
Ladd and his bonus kid were all smiles in Ree's next post. "Ladd and Jamar..." she wrote over a very recent photo of the two. "This morning! 😊"
The Pioneer Woman then shared an adorable photo of her favorite cowboy with their daughter Paige (also featuring good boys Fred and Rusty 😍).
Ree closed out her tribute by posting a photo of her and her own father. "Happy Father's Day to my own dad! ❤️" She then went on to describe him as "selfless, dedicated, gentle, humble, and good."
As if this wasn't already sweet enough, the Drummond kids followed suit with their own special tributes to their favorite guy.
Paige shared the same sweet throwback photo her mother had posted, writing: "Happy Father's Day laddy daddy! A provider, leader, role model, faithful servant, hard worker, and the most giving person I know. So thankful for the father that he is through the good times and the hard times. Love this guy so much! 🤍"
Alex kept hers simple by re-sharing Ree's post of Alex with her dad, writing "❤️❤️❤️ Laddy Daddy!"
Jamar topped off the tributes with a bit of humor. He wrote a funny yet sweet message alongside a grid post: "🤦🏽♂️ How’d I forget… Happy Father’s Day‼️❤️"
