If there was ever a time to visit Ree Drummond's hometown of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, it would have to be Christmastime. The glittering lights, the festive trees, and the smell of freshly baked cookies from The Merc bakery make it a holiday dream come true.

Every inch of the town gets lit up with Christmas decorations, including The Mercantile, P-Town Pizza, and Charlie's Sweet Shop. Just the other day, Ree's restaurant and store shared a sneak peek at the holiday magic in action.

"You may notice some Christmas elves around town this week stringing lights and hanging wreaths," they wrote in on Instagram.

Back when the Merc first opened, the decorations didn't go up until December 1, but as the excitement for the holiday season grew, they've pushed the date up to just before Thanksgiving.

And after a refreshing renovation to The Merc restaurant last spring, this is the first time the newly decorated space will get the holiday treatment. And boy, does it look merry and bright! There's plenty of red gingham ribbons, colorful Christmas lights, and the prettiest ornaments we ever did see. It's not just one decorated tree either, there are several smaller trees, each with different themes.

So, without further ado… check out how Ree's town got transformed for Christmas:

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We're finishing up putting up all our Christmas decorations this week, and we just can't wait for everyone to come enjoy them. The whole town turns magical this time of year, especially at night. Come visit!"

Of course, if you're visiting Pawhuska during this time of year, you'll want to pick up a few of the adorable Christmas gifts and Pioneer Woman products at Ree's store.

"Some peeks around the Merc currently. As always, our store is stocked with all kinds of fun ornaments and gifts," another post reads.

If visiting a Christmas town is on your holiday wishlist, consider this your sign to book a trip to Pawhuska right now. And who knows? Maybe Santa will make an appearance.
