It's the most wonderful time of the year at the Drummond ranch! Since Christmas is The Pioneer Woman's favorite holiday, we're always excited to see what Ree has in store for the family. She gave us a sneak peak of Ladd's gifts and even recapped us on their new hot tub (confused dogs and all).
But of course, we were really waiting for the one annual update that always makes us laugh. We're talking about the epic family Christmas pajamas, of course! It's a tradition that's near and deer to Ree's heart, and 2023 was no exception. Now, you may have noticed there were a few Drummond kids missing! That's because this year, Alex and her hubby Mauricio were spending time with his side of the family, and Bryce was off adulting.
But we did get a glimpse of who did attend the festivities! In what Ree called a "Christmas of VFP (very few photos)," we got a gorgeous shot of Missy and Halle, Ladd's brother's wife and daughter, along with Paige. Ree's sister Betsy also made an appearance! Ree describes the holiday as full of "lots for food, funny stories, wine, laughter, and Dr Pepper." Sounds like the perfect Drummond gathering to us!
And speaking of food, we expected nothing less than pure comfort from the Drummond kitchen. While we certainly expected to see Ree's famous cinnamon rolls and a giant holiday ham for dinner, thanks to Paige, we found out exactly what was served for breakfast on Christmas morning: biscuits and gravy. 😋
Looks like everyone was well dressed and well fed, that's for sure. What a fabulous family gathering! So, what's in store for the Drummonds come 2024? We'll be anxiously awaiting Ree's next update. Whatever it is, it will surely be deliciously fun.
