Celebrate good times, come on! Yep, we had to break out an '80s song reference for none other than Ree Drummond's birthday! After all, it's only one of the most important days of the year. Okay, maybe we're a little biased, but it's definitely cause for celebration.
Over the weekend, Ree celebrated her special day in the most cozy way. She had her sons and husband by her side at home... and lots of biscuits and gravy. Because you can't have a birthday celebration without biscuits and gravy, right? Right! Well, that's the case at Drummond ranch, at least. So, move over cake—unless it's Ree's chocolate sheet cake, of course. That can stay.
Along with a hearty meal, the Drummonds also enjoyed a day of family fun together. At one point, they even sat down to a big game of poker. Ree posted, "For my birthday, Ladd and the boys are playing poker." 😆 But, hey! Spectating is just as fun as playing. Sounds like a winning birthday to us!
Of course, her kiddos also took to social media to share the sweetest birthday wishes. As did all of you! And Ree was oh-so-appreciative. She posted in her Facebook group, "Thank you all for the very sweet birthday wishes!! You are so kind and I appreciate each and every one of you! I had Ladd snap this photo of me this morning. (Just kidding, haha.)"
See why we just had to reference the '80s? But seriously, her actual birthday portrait is just fabulous! We're not sure exactly what winter cocktail that is, but it sure looks delicious. Cheers to another year, Ree!
