Alex Drummond is starting the new year off right. After a holiday filled with family and friends in Colorado, she's back home and ready to kick off 2024 in the best way possible—with some tasty food!
Ree's oldest daughter recently took to Instagram to share her first grocery haul of the new year. Like many people who set New Year's resolutions, Alex revealed that her goal is to cook more at home and eat healthier. (We've got plenty of healthy dinner recipes for that!)
While Alex's haul included plenty of good-for-you new food products like protein bars, chickpea pasta, green juice, and bubbly non-alcoholic drinks, what really caught our attention was the guilty pleasure that Alex revealed at the end of her grocery run-through. She took home one last supermarket staple—rotisserie chicken—but not before she had a very relatable moment.
"If this is not you when you come home from the grocery store with a rotisserie chicken, are you even human?" she joked.
Alex then disclosed that she already "dug" into the chicken—tearing off a few bites.
"I just can't resist when I get home and there's a warm rotisserie chicken in my grocery bag," she said, "I have to have a little pinch of it and give George a pinch obviously."
Who can blame her?! 😂 Hopefully, she has enough rotisserie chicken left to make her mom's chicken spaghetti or buffalo chicken dip for herself and hubby Mauricio. It just goes to show that you can't go wrong with a classic supermarket chicken.
As for the rest of her new grocery products, the verdict is still out but you can go ahead and try them for yourself. Let us know which one is your favorite in the comments!
