Happy Galentine's Day! It's time to grab your favorite gal pals and celebrate the sweetest season of all—sisterhood style.
But, wait! For those who don't know what Galentine's Day is, it's an unofficial holiday taking place the day before Valentine's Day that originates from the popular television show Parks and Recreation and has become a beloved tradition for honoring the ladies in your life. Whether you grab dinner with your mom, give your grandma a call, or host a party with all of your besties, it's all about showing your girls just how much they mean to you... with the added aesthetic of all things pink and heart-shaped!
Just take it from Paige Drummond! She and her besties put on their favorite festive attire (the prettiest Valentine's Day outfits complete with Valentine's Day earrings) and threw a Galentine's Day bash that would make Leslie Knope herself proud.
Paige recently shared photos to her Instagram story of the event—and just look at that spread! There's a charcuterie board packed with meat, cheeses, crackers, and fruit, as well as so many delectable desserts. There were chocolate-covered strawberries, cookies, bowls of candy, and, of course, a colorful cake. But our favorite of the sweet treats has to be those strawberry cupcakes decorated with the prettiest pink icing bows! 😍 And to display all of those goodies, Paige pulled out the cutest bowls, platters, and cake stands, all adorned with darling florals and sweet scalloped edges.
To keep the theme going, Paige made pink drinks to match! She even incorporated an assortment of drink glasses with pink ribbons tied around the stems. There were quite literally tied with a bow! 🎀 Have you ever seen anything so cute? We'd say no, but look at those equally adorable heart-shaped ice cubes! Basically, we're obsessed with it all.
Luckily, it's super simple to throw your own Galentine's Day party, too—especially since Paige provided us with plenty of inspo and The Pioneer Woman's line provides us with so many floral-covered dishware options. Now all you need to do is phone your friends, then whip up some heart-shaped foods and pink desserts to match all of your Valentine's Day decorations!
