That's exactly what Alex Drummond and her hubby Mauricio had for their Valentine's Day celebration! It was the eighth Valentine's Day in the books for the sweet couple. Can you guess what they made for Valentine's Day dinner?
Well, here's a hint: The Pioneer Woman's eldest daughter set up a special dinner for two that would have any cattle-ranching family drooling.
Still not sure? It just so happens to be one of Ree and Ladd's favorite meals.
Okay, you've probably guessed it by now. The duo made a scrumptious steak dinner! But that's not all—it was more of a surf and turf with both steak and lobster. It doesn't get more elegant than that. As for the side dish, they kept things classic with an all-time crowd-pleaser. A good helping of ooey, gooey mac and cheese.
"Might be our best work yet," Alex wrote in her Instagram stories, "Steak, lobster, mac and cheese… the holy trinity."
Of course, no Valentine's Day date night would be complete without red wine, tapered candles, and a bouquet of red roses. Alex really knows how to set the scene!
After seeing her sister Paige celebrate Galentine's Day with her friends (and some cute pink cupcakes), it was no surprise that Alex had something equally special planned for her and her pookie head.
Even their fur baby, George, took part in the holiday. Just look at the way he watches Mauricio brush the lobster with butter. 🥹
The golden pup is just as much a steak-lover as the rest of the Drummond family.
He might just be the sweetest Valentine of all. 💗
