The perfect weekend getaway doesn't exist... wait, scratch that! It does exist and it just so happened that Paige Drummond hosted her own perfect weekend in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. 🙌 Okay, so maybe it was more of a staycation for the youngest Drummond daughter, who currently lives in her hometown, but for her four besties who visited, it was certainly the wholesome weekend getaway of a lifetime.
Paige recently revealed that she moved back to her hometown to help out on the Drummond ranch with her dad on an episode of Ree's show. Although the girls spent some of their weekend at Ree and Ladd's new house, Paige's move home also meant moving into her own space, or rather her grandparents' old space—which is the cute backdrop of many of the photos in Paige's recent Instagram photo dump. If that's not the definition of "going back to your roots," we don't know what is!
The real-life cowgirl showcased all the fun flicks from her weekend with friends in an Instagram carousel, which seemed to be full of laughs, card games, pizza parties, and pups! "One day I’ll convince them all to move here 🤞🏼 real housewives of Pawhuska coming soon," Paige captioned the sweet photo dump. Now that's a reality show we'd most definitely tune into every week! 😂
In the first photo of the carousel, Paige captured a candid shot of her friends playing a game of cards, which seems to have been a repeated theme of the weekend based on the Polaroids she posted later on. In the photo, the girls are sitting under the shade at an outdoor table, each equipped with a hand of cards and a crisp glass of white wine. It truly is the simple things that matter most!
The next stop on their Pawhuska adventure was Paige's parents' house, where the girls enjoyed lots of cuddles with the Drummond dogs on Ree's sunny front porch. That was followed up by some spring burning on the ranch and shopping in town.
No Drummond event is complete without a delicious spread of food, and Paige's girls weekend was no exception. The Drummond daughter included a snap of one of their tasty takeout feasts, featuring pizza, salad, and dessert jars from none other than Ree's own P-Town Pizza. Caesar salad, pizza-ree-a, and Not Knots for five, please!
Paige and her friends are pictured with full plates and big smiles, the only correct reaction to tasting the delectable cheesy bites from Ree's Pawhuska pizza parlor.
Paige ended the photo dump with a snap of all the Polaroids she and her friends took throughout the weekend. The adorable retro pictures include even more fun memories from their trip, including a snap of the girls in matching wide-rimmed sun hats, a table littered with playing cards, and Paige hugging one of Ree's yellow labs.
