While we love keeping up with each and every member of the Drummond family, we can't help but get a little extra excited when Ree or Alex posts a pic of her beloved golden floof, George! Last we heard, the adorable pup was living it up with his humans at an eclipse viewing party, but since then, it's been nothing but crickets.

That is until now, as the proverbial crickets have finally been eaten by George, who was featured in a much-needed series of updates Alex posted to her Instagram story. "Here is some recent George content," Alex captioned a cute closeup of her one-year-old golden retriever at the beginning of the photo dump.

The update included photos and videos of George being his hilarious self, searching for bunnies, stealing water bottles, waiting patiently at the front door, and more. In case you missed Alex's pupdate, don't worry because we're sharing all the cuteness right here!

The Instagram series continued with another photo of George in his favorite place: the couch (or should we say, Mauricio's arms). The giant, golden ball of floof looks happy as a clam crushing laying across his dad with a big grin on his face. No matter how big he gets, George will always be a puppy in our eyes!

"Morning snuggles every morning," Alex captioned the following video of her fur baby sprawled across her lap in bed. Who needs a weighted blanket when you have a George?

The next photo in the series showed us that when he's not using one of his owners as a heated dog bed, George can be found in a puddle of fur on the bathroom floor.

"Loves a cold tile floor nap," Alex wrote across the photo of George sleeping peacefully on their beige-tiled bathroom floor. Let George be your sign to have nap time, no matter the occasion or place. 😆

While George's naps may mean quiet for the rest of the house, we're pretty sure his dreams are anything but! Like most dogs, George is probably dozing off to visions of puppuccinos, treats, and lots of zoomies. Or perhaps he's dreaming of his most recent fixation: a plastic water bottle!

In the next video, George is pictured with a tight grip on Mauricio's water bottle, circling around the coffee table repeatedly. "His new obsession: Mauricio's water bottle," Alex captioned the comical clip.

As Mauricio tries to grab the bottle from George's mouth, the straight-faced pup swiftly turns his head out of his dad's reach! Perhaps it's time for Mauricio to switch to a Stanley Cup instead... 😂

Even when his humans aren't home, you can bet that George is the first thing Alex and Mauricio see when they return. Alex documented one of George's many daily greetings in a hilarious video where the pup is pictured peaking out from the front windows of their house.

"Every time we come home :')" Alex captioned the cute clip. Now that's a welcome we'd never get tired of!

As for his antics outside the house, George has surely been getting his fix of spring weather (and the creatures it brings) while on his many walks with Alex.

"Bunny spotting," the eldest Drummond daughter simply captioned the snap. In it, we can see an open-mouthed George eagerly staring into someone's grassy yard at a bunny off-camera. Thankfully, he's leashed in the photo, so we assume the bunny is safe—for now!
