As a mother of five kids (not including her fur babies), we can only imagine the fantastic Mother's Day gifts Ree Drummond has gotten over the years! "Our family's Mother's Day approach is very much dictated by our real lives," Ree once said, "These days, with the kids off in different directions, I'm happy (thrilled!) with a kiss on the cheek from whatever child is around!"
But what's the best Mother's Day gift she's ever received? That was the question up for debate at her most recent live stream on Walmart.com! During the live, Ree answered a few questions about her life and family, including her favorite Mother's Day gift from her kids. And her response was oh-so-sweet (and maybe even a little surprising).
Ree revealed that the best gift she received was way back when the kids were young and used to bring her breakfast in bed. “We would wake up really early, and we would carry it in on a tray,” Alex reminisced during the livestream. We can almost smell the fresh pancakes and bacon—or, in this case...cereal. 😂
“You poured milk on the cereal like 10 minutes before you brought it to me,” Ree hilariously added.
Hey, it's the thought that counts! Soggy cereal or not, Ree went on to share more about why this act of service was her favorite Mother's Day gift:
“There’s nothing that you can get me that’s better than a sweet memory of my kids," she said.
