Life as a seemingly spoiled golden retriever isn’t as easy as it may seem. In between getting snuggles and steak dinners, George is in charge of helping out on The Pioneer Woman's photoshoots and keeping a lookout for bunnies outside of Alex and Mauricio’s house! And though he might not be considered a "guard dog," George is certainly aware when unexpected construction workers make an appearance.
So, when Alex and Mauricio's neighbors enlisted the help of roofers to patch things up, George's reaction was truly priceless! The roofers just so happened to be visible from the stairwell window in Alex's house, which the curious golden retriever caught wind of immediately. Alex posted a hilarious video to her Instagram story of George's reaction to the roofers, and we can’t get enough of his puzzled expression.
"There are guys working on our neighbor's roof and George has been sooooo confused watching them through this window," Alex captioned the clip.
In the video, George is pictured sitting on the couch with his eyes glued to the stairwell window, where we can see a hat-adorned roofer peeking out. The video pans back and forth between the roofers in the window and a shell-shocked George, who looks as though he saw a ghost rather than the average construction worker! 😂
“Who are these men in the sky and how do I get them to play w me,” Alex captioned the following photo of George with his eyes still glued on the window.
