Most teens dream about the day they finally get to leave for college. Little do they know (at least at first) that they'll eventually be counting down the days 'til they get to go home for the summer! Todd Drummond, Ree's youngest son, is experiencing that now (he left for his freshmen year at college earlier in 2023).

Yes, you can bet that he's spending his time getting all muddy while helping out Ladd and Paige on the ranch—but he's also doing some other fun things, like going to country concerts with friends! 🙌

Todd recently posted some photos and videos to Instagram of him and his buddies having a grand ol' time at a Zach Bryan concert.

"I can’t take this soul with me, If I go I’m goin quickly, Keep those heavy eyes free and proud," Todd captioned the post.

These lyrics from Bryan's original song, "Heavy Eyes," are what makes him the king of heartfelt and sometimes sad country music. If you know anything about the popular country singer, then you might be aware that he grew up over in Oklahoma (just like the Drummond kids), which is where he hosted the concert that Todd attended.

The singer regularly references his home state in many of his songs, including "Oklahoma Smokeshow," "Oklahoma City," and "Oklahoman Son."

It's no wonder Todd, and anyone else from The Sooner State, would be ecstatic to see the singer return to his roots and perform in Oklahoma City.

Todd was joined by his friends for the show and from the looks of it, they had pretty good seats at the Paycom Center stadium. At one point, it seemed like he was just mere feet away from the singer as he knelt to the ground while passionately strumming his guitar!

Getting to see any of your favorite artists in concert is an experience like no other, so it's pretty cool that Todd got to make this memory!

Now, tell us, are there any concerts that you're looking forward to this summer? Make sure to comment with any concert plans below!
