The official start of summer can only mean one thing: It's time to celebrate Alex Drummond's birthday!
With the announcement of the first Drummond grandbaby and the eldest Drummond daughter's 27th birthday all in the same week, there's no shortage of excitement in the month of June. And we're keeping up with it all through social media, where Ree, her sister Betsy, Paige, and Mauricio posted sweet messages in honor of Alex's special day.
Ree rang in her firstborn's birthday with a throwback photo and a silly caption.
"Happy birthday to my first baby, ALEX! I'm so sorry I did this to you," Ree jokingly wrote of baby Alex wearing a flower crown and angel wings in front of a fake sky backdrop. "It was the nineties, we new moms were hectic and very eager, and there was this mall kiosk I couldn't look away from. I love you! 👼"
It may not be the first time we've seen this photo, but it never gets old! "MUST recreate with our baby one day 😂," Alex wrote in the comments. We'll be patiently waiting on that one!
The birthday wishes continued over on Alex's Aunt Betsy's account. Ree's sister posted a vintage throwback of her and Alex sharing a smooch! "Happy birthday, Alex! Mwah! Always so sweet and beautiful ❤️," Betsy wrote.
Speaking of sisters, Paige shared a series of stories dedicated to her big sis, including a throwback baby photo and a compilation of some of their favorite sister moments throughout the years. The cute collage features photos of the smiling sisters standing side by side, on a ski trip, and dancing at Alex's wedding.
"The best big sister and friend I could ask for. Wouldn't want to do this life without you!!" Paige wrote.
Is there anything sweeter than sisterly love? Probably not, but puppy love comes close. Mauricio embarked on the tribute train with a few stories featuring Alex and their dog George.
"Happy 27th Birthday to my beautiful bride!" he captioned a sunset snap of Alex and George.
"I can't wait to raise a baby with you! I love you ❤️," he wrote on a photo from their maternity shoot.
We'd say a baby on the way is a pretty good way to start another year. Happy birthday, Alex! 🎂
