An exciting thing happened four years ago: Alex Drummond and Mauricio Scott got engaged!
It's been a real whirlwind for the young couple since the day they were married at Drummond Ranch: They moved in together in Dallas, embarked on lots of fun trips, and adopted their lovable puppy named George. Just over a month ago, they announced their biggest news yet: They're welcoming a baby girl into the family.
Looking back on everything, it's easy to feel a twinge of nostalgia. Alex is in a similar state of mind, as she posted a sweet tribute to her husband on Instagram:
"Four years ago today! Best decision I've ever made!" she said. "These youngsters could've never dreamed we'd be here today with a little girl on the way. š„¹ God is so good!"
As you might recall, the proposal itself was a big surprise planned by Mauricio who was Alex's then "friend" (as Ree called him) at the time. The couple were out for a walk in their local outdoor sculpture garden where Mauricio led her to a secluded spot. (Paige helped to decorate the space with some personalized touches ahead of time.) Both of their families secretly gathered in a private room to watch the whole thing unfold from a distance and congratulate them after Alex said, "yes!"
The moment, captured by Alex's college friend turned photographer, is now a happy memory. "I love this life with you," Alex added with a tag to Mauricio.
It seems that some "friends" become friends for a lifetime. š„°
