Wedding bells are about to ring for Paige Drummond and fiancée David!
The surprise proposal took place in Dallas last weekend followed by a celebration with the couple's closest family and friends. Although pulling it off wasn't easy, as Ree herself admits, The Pioneer Woman's youngest daughter happened to be wearing a dress that evening that wound up being perfect for the engagement.
Ironically, Paige bought her dress at Abercrombie about four months ago. She thought she was having a "Roomie Night Out" with her roommates since they all just moved out of the apartment they shared. The plan was to go to Honor Bar in Dallas (or so she thought!) for a nice dinner—but she never made it there!
Paige's black and white maxi dress features a flowy, breathable fit with details like an adjustable tie-back detail, straight neckline, and a long white skirt. Luckily, her decision to wear a comfy linen-blend also helped her stay cool in the summer heat. (Fun fact: It was over 100 degrees in Dallas that evening!)
