Fall is just around the corner! For anyone who loves the seasonal switch, you know it's really never too early to decorate. In fact, you could argue that it's never too early to decorate for Halloween either, given that Summerween is trending. Hello, Augtober!
Another sign that it's totally fine to get in the spooky spirit is that plenty of Halloween decorations are already out in stores, and likeminded decorators are already gearing up. That includes Alex Drummond! She and her husband, Mauricio Scott, just bought a new Halloween golden retriever decoration, and "it's perfection ๐."
Okay, so the humans think it's the cutest doggone thing you'll see this season. George the Floof, on the other hand, is still a little skeptical. "He's so unsure," Alex explains as he investigates his new stoic friend. And then once he realizes it lights up, too? Well, let's just say he needs a little protection from his dog dad.
"Maurcio never really makes impulse purchases, but this was justified," Alex notes with a laugh. They bought it at Home Depot, the same exact place where they bought George's Christmas twin last year. And like the Santa retriever, the Halloween (Howl-oween?) version stands about 2.5 feet tall and can be placed indoors or outdoors with an on/off switch for the lights.
While it isn't on the Home Depot website at the moment, it is available for purchase in store. There are also very similar options at retailers like Walmart and Amazon as well. So if you don't want to make a trip to the store because you have a floof on your lap, you can shop the online options below.
