Of course I recently shared the news with you that Paige was recently engaged to her boyfriend David, along with the sweet engagement in a pretty park in Dallas. Now that they've settled into their new status as fiancés, the date has been set, the wedding dress has been chosen, and the wedding planning has officially started!

Paige has always known she wanted to get married on the ranch, but she also wanted to have an official engagement photo shoot on the ranch so the photos feel more like home. And mission accomplished! Our good family friend Betsy Dutcher (who is named after my sister Betsy--that's how close our families are) came out to the ranch earlier this week and had an evening photo shoot with the tall lovebird pookie heads. Warning: These pics will make you want to sing a country song.

Paige will share more photos from the shoot in the coming days, but we wanted to share them with you here since you're basically her internet aunts and uncles after reading and supporting her for...well, her whole life. ❤️

Here are some of the sweet photos. Hope you enjoy them!

(Repeated that last one because it's mom's favorite.)

Young love! It's a beautiful thing.

Trivia: After these photos were taken, David had to drive back to Dallas for work the next day, and Betsy had to drive back to Oklahoma City. So I made them both ham sandwiches (wheat bread, Duke's mayo, salt and pepper, Dijon mustard, ham provolone, and cheddar/jack if you must know the details), a bag of chips (Betsy had Cool Ranch Doritos and David has sour cream and onion Lays if you must know), and green grapes (if you must know). Have I mentioned packing people sandwiches for solo drives is my new favorite hobby?

Congratulations again, Paige and David! Love seeing your happiness!
