Ree Drummond’s first granddaughter is already getting the princess treatment! Alex’s close friends and family threw her a baby shower this weekend, and it was the definition of pretty in pink. The darling details, like the floral photo wall, monogrammed door decor, and pink baby-themed cookies were all adorable, but it’s Alex’s dress that was the true star of the show!
The mom-to-be wore a pink and white dress that matched the color scheme of the shower perfectly. And while Alex might be ready to pop soon, her vintage-inspired midi dress sure wasn't despite it not being a maternity piece.
"My dress is @moniquelhuillier (same designer as my wedding dress, how wild?!)," Alex captioned an Instagram story she posted of the dress. "I got it on sale awhile ago from @saks, it's not maternity so I went up a size and prayed it would fit!"
Luckily, the fit was perfect and it was all the more special that it had a meaningful connection to her wedding gown.
