Christmas cookies are arguably one of the best parts of the holiday season! It's that time of year when your kitchen turns into a culinary version of Santa's workshop. But as festive as it is to be baking cookies, there comes a time when you can't stand mixing by hand anymore. That's where a stand mixer comes in! Specifically, The Pioneer Woman Stand Mixer which is available in two colors at Walmart.

As the holidays roll around, Ree Drummond is revisiting her favorite recipes like the brown sugar oatmeal cookies she makes time and time again. "They're dark and magical, chewy and dense, delicious and delicious," Ree says. But just because she's a fan of the classics doesn't mean Ree can't remix her recipes to keep up with new appliances.

The Pioneer Woman took to Instagram to share a tutorial for the "best cookies in the world," as she calls them. While the ingredients remain the same as ever, there's one new addition to the picture: The Painted Meadow Stand Mixer. Check out how to make the chewy, gooey cookies using Ree's new stand mixer below.

Ree starts the cookie-making process by creaming butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together using the paddle attachment. Then, come the dry ingredients—flour, salt, and baking soda—which she slowly adds to the mixing bowl. Next, she cranks up the speed of the mixer to combine the dough with chopped pecans and oats. Thanks to the handy stand mixer, Ree is rewarded with a hefty lump of hands' free cookie dough!

At the end of the cooking video, Ree demonstrates two different ways to approach the dough. You can either dole out balls of dough directly onto a greased cookie sheet or roll them into a parchment paper cylinder, slice, and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 13 minutes.

The former method yields perfectly round, golden-brown cookies, while the latter bakes into extra-large, oblong cookies that you might want to split with a friend (although you probably won't want to).

"In closing, I love cookies," Ree added to sign off the video. Sound off in the comments below if you agree!
