Just as spring serves as a time for cleaning, winter necessitates nesting—especially when you're about a month away from your due date like Alex Drummond! In between decorating her new Christmas tree and tending to her firstborn, George, the soon-to-be mom is taking all the steps to prepare her home for Baby Sofia.
The latest part of her nesting journey? Making over her kitchen cabinet. And no, this kitchen makeover doesn't involve stand mixers or baking dishes from Ree's collection at Walmart, but rather baby bottles and pacifiers galore.
Alex took to Instagram to document her preparations in a story series she titled "Nesting with Alex" where she not only unboxed her pregnancy purchases but included links for all of her essentials.
"This is the beginning of what will be the next few weeks of prepping for our little Sofia to get here," Alex says. "I'm 33 weeks pregnant so I feel like I need to kick it into overdrive."
Luckily, thanks to Alex's prep work, there's a place for everything!
She started off by sharing her glass baby bottles, bottle warmer, and drying rack, along with a handy dishwasher basket for pacifiers and bottle parts which will certainly make the cleanup process much easier for her and Mauricio.
"Here's the plan: soak, hand wash, dry, organize," she said.
So, where are all of these goodies going? In the kitchen cabinet Alex meticulously measured to fit five neat plastic bins for Sofia's bottles, lids, pacifiers, and more.
"Mauricio was so impressed that I got the right size for our cabinet," Alex joked while showing off the bins.

"I'm honestly so proud of myself for how this all came together," she remarked at the end of the series.
