Packing for a trip isn't easy—especially when you're in charge of double the luggage like Alex Drummond, who recently welcomed her baby Sofia into the world. While visiting the Drummond ranch for the first time, Alex Drummond's daughter Sofia spent many special moments with family in the midst of her daily routine. Think: eat, sleep, tummy time, cuddle, repeat. As always, Sofia's tummy time session included a soft pink throw and a matching onesie.

The only thing missing? Sofia's black and white contrast cards, which are typically used to help babies develop their vision. Luckily, Grandma Ree's colossal cow trinket collection came in clutch! Alex documented the hilarious moment for her Instagram followers with a sweet video of Sofia and the high-contrast household item in question: checkered, cow-shaped salt and pepper shakers.

"When you forget the contrast cards at home 😂," Alex captioned the video of Sofia. "We call these the contrast cows." The adorable (and handy!) cows are from MacKenzie-Childs, and they match Ree's cowgirl aesthetic to a tee.

"They work great! She loves them for tummy time," Alex added. Sofia's unwavering gaze and excited babble in the background certainly back that claim up!

The MacKenzie-Childs Cow Salt & Pepper Set features two hand-painted, ceramic cows with gold lustre ears that'll glimmer as you season your food (or place them in front of a baby's face). Not only would the shakers make the perfect housewarming present, but also a great baby shower gift! After all, what other household item aids in dinnertime and enrichment time? Just ask Alex, Ree, and Sofia!
