Between the holidays, baby Sofia's arrival, and Ree and Ladd's birthdays, the Drummond family has had endless reasons to celebrate lately! And now, Alex Drummond's husband Mauricio is the latest member of the Drummond crew to take another trip around the sun!
Following Sofia's first trip to the ranch, Alex took the time to share a touching tribute to Mauricio on Instagram. The four-part post featured plenty of adorable father-daughter content, as well as a hilarious blooper of Alex and Mauricio's fluffy firstborn, George.
"Happy birthday to the rock of our little fam ❤️," Alex captioned the first photo, which featured a grinning Mauricio with Sofia in hand. The snap also revealed the details of Mauricio's sweet and simple celebration: a rainbow birthday banner and glistening donut display!
But the cuteness doesn't end there. Alex continued the birthday (and baby) content with a close-up of of Mauricio giving Sofia a smooch.
"We ❤️ you so much," she wrote. And while the first two photos centered on Mauricio and the newest addition to their family, Alex turned the spotlight onto George with a birthday blooper featuring the playful pup.
"Surely this will end well," she captioned a photo of the golden retriever with a bright green balloon in his mouth. The following video proves that mother really does know best.
Enchanted by his new "toy," George sauntered around the living room with a tight grip on the balloon. That is, before it popped before his eyes! "I fear he will be looking for the balloon for the next 5-10 business days 😭," Alex wrote. Hey, at least he's staying on top of household inventory!
