Alex Drummond officially hit the two-month mark of motherhood (!!!), which means it was time to pose baby Sofia for some classic milestone photos. You know the ones: an adorable little outfit, a stuffed animal for scale, and a milestone card announcing the age. Some babies sit sweetly for the occasion, while others... well, let's just say Sofia had other ideas in mind. 😂

Alex shared her attempt at capturing the perfect "2 months" photo, and it didn't quite go as planned. "How in the heck do people get these cute milestone photos?" she wrote on Instagram. "I've tried for two consecutive days now to take these dang pictures and this is what we got." The results were a collection of photos featuring Sofia in various states of upset: crying, flailing, snoozing, and slumping over next to her stuffed bear. So, yeah... not quite camera-ready.

The funniest moment, though, might be the final shot Alex posted of Sofia looking completely over the whole process. She captioned it simply: "Mood." (At this point, they were both frustrated!)

This is just another reminder that babies have their own agendas, and sometimes, picture-perfect moments aren't in the cards. But if anything, this series is way more memorable! (And we're sure Ree will frame a shot or five to display on the ranch. 😂)

Over the past few months, Alex has been open about the ups and downs of being a new mom. She's quick to remind followers that social media is just the highlight reel and, even with a baby as cute as hers, there are plenty of chaotic moments. As you can see here, sometimes those make the best memories! Still, for Alex's sake, we hope that next month's milestone shoot goes a little smoother. And if not, at least we'll all get another round of photos.
