Ree Drummond is feeling *all* the emotions as she counts down to her daughter Paige's wedding! With just two months to go until the big day, she took to Instagram to share a precious side-by-side of Paige: one photo from her toddler days, the other from her recent bridal shower.
"How it started vs. how it's going," Ree captioned the post. "Who needs pants when you've got a great pair of boots?!? Sweet Paigie đđđ She'll be a bride in two months!"
The first photo is a black-and-white snapshot of little Paige climbing what looks like a piece of equipment on the ranch, rocking cowboy boots (obviously) and a denim jacket (sans pants). The second is a stunning shot of the soon-to-be newlywed in an elegant white pleated gown, holding a mimosa and looking every bit the blushing bride.
It's no wonder Ree is feeling sentimentalâher youngest daughter is all grown up! And between dress shopping, wedding planning, and plenty of celebrations along the way, it's been a busy (and slightly emotional) time for the Drummonds.
"Wedding season is getting closer!" Ree said after Paige's fun couples' shower. "I feel hungoverânot from alcoholic beverages, but from the sheer love and romance of it all."
Paige and her fiancĂ© David are set to tie the knot this spring, and if the recent celebrations are any indication, it's going to be one beautiful, love-filled day. Of course, Ree has been soaking up every moment along the way (even joking that she needs to get on her rowing machine to make sure she can zip up her dress đ).
For now, the countdown is on! And while Paige may have upgraded from cowboy boots to high heels, one thing hasn't changed: She'll always be Ree's little girl. â€ïž
