George is still holding on to his role as the first baby of the family, but he's also stepping into big brother mode with so much heart. In a recent Instagram story, Alex Drummond shared the sweetest clip of her dog trying to rope baby Sofia into a game of fetch... despite the fact that she's only four months old.
Sofia was sitting in her bouncer, minding her own business, when George trotted over and gently dropped his squeaky ball right in her lap. "Is your brother bringing you the ball?" Alex asked off-camera. "Georgie, did you bring Sofia the ball? She can't play fetch with you yet, she's just a baby!" George continued to stand there, nudging Sofia, fully convinced his baby sister might give it a shot.
"George isn't giving up on the fetch," Alex captioned the video. And, honestly, you have to admire his optimism! This was just another moment in their growing collection of sweet sibling antics. These two have been melting hearts for months now, and there are too many cute moments between George and Sofia to count. From nursery photoshoots to snow days, this furry big brother has been by his sister's side through it all.
Of course, he's still got plenty of energy to burn, so we don't blame him for trying to get a game going. And something tells us once Sofia gets a little bigger, George is going to have a full-time fetch partner. For now, he'll just keep trying. 😂
