As the firstborn Scott baby, Alex Drummond's dog George is no stranger to getting his way—especially when walks are involved. If you've kept up with the golden retriever's adventures over the past two years, then you're probably familiar with his penchant for the outdoors. Whether he's playing in the snow in the winter or splashing around in the backyard in the summer, the playful pup can't get enough fresh air!
"2024 will be mine and George's walking era," Alex said last year. Thanks to his handy dandy, hands-free leash, and a few cameos from neighborhood squirrels, it seems that goal has been achieved. Alex's latest Instagram story documenting yet another of George's antics is proof.
Some may call it "walking your dog," but in George's world, an afternoon stroll is more along the lines of "walking his mom." And that isn't just because he pulls at his leash. In fact, the whole act of taking a walk is initiated by George himself.
"When it starts getting later in the day he sits by the front door like this and DEMANDS walkies," says Alex. The accompanying video features George sitting by their front door at the very end of an antelope runner rug. The only thing more he could do to get his point across is learn how to open the door. Not that it would ever get that far—because how could you say no to that face? 🥹
As you can see, George may be a man of few words (or rather barks), but he always gets his point across.
