Fans of The Pioneer Woman know that they can always tune into her popular show or her social media to see videos of her making comfort food with easy-to-follow steps. The results always look deliciously good, no matter what she's cooking up.

But once in a while, she'll share the funny little moments that aren't quite ready for prime time. Take, for instance, her hilarious attempt at latte art last year. Another example? Over the weekend, Ree took to social media to share a video of her frying up some potatoes while singing along to ABBA only to find an unexpected visitor pop up suddenly.

It started out innocently enough. After rewatching of one her favorite movies, Muriel's Wedding, Ree was inspired to listen to "Fernando" by the iconic '70s pop group ABBA. ("If I had to do the same again...") Then as she's flipping her potatoes on screen, you see a familiar figure appear in the distance. Jump scare! 😱

No, it wasn't Fernando. It was just Ladd coming home a little earlier than expected. But it did scare the literally *bleep* out of her! That fork might have been used on defense had he been closer, but he just chuckles and opens a can of his favorite Dr Pepper. Rude! 😂 Clearly, he deserves her label of "butthead" for that move.

At of the time of this reporting, there was no official word on the status of the potatoes, though it appears that no harm was done. As for Ree, she's probably fine, too. After 25-plus years of snake pranks and marriage jokes, she's bound to be used to it by now. There's just something about a blooper reel that keeps it, well, real! Hopefully, she'll share more in the future.
