Alex Drummond's daughter just celebrated her very first Easter—and from the looks of it, she was surrounded by more love (and bunnies!) than she could ever dream of. 💛
Alex and her husband Mauricio brought four-month-old Sofia to the ranch for the weekend, and Ree could hardly contain her excitement. "Sofia and her parents arrived Wednesday night," Ree shared, "So we got to have a nice long weekend together." It was full of everything you'd expect from the Drummond crew: time in the kitchen, visits with family, a very competitive egg hunt, and a homemade feast. (Well, mostly. The biscuits were canned. 🤫)
As for Sofia? She had quite the weekend! On Sunday morning, Alex and Mauricio took her to church, dressed in their Easter best. Alex wore a cheerful floral spring dress, and Sofia stole the show in a pink seersucker romper with the sweetest white bow.
Later in the day, Sofia got to "help" in the kitchen by watching a gravy-making session up close, tagged along while Ree tried on a few mother-of-the-bride dresses for Paige's upcoming wedding, and was absolutely spoiled with what might have been the biggest Easter basket of all time. "Yes, I still get the grown kids Easter baskets," Ree wrote. "But theirs were slightly overshadowed by Sofia's pile. It's my first grandchild, okay? I didn't know how to ease my way into this!"
All in all, it was a weekend to remember, especially for the littlest member of the crew. Something tells us Sofia will have quite a few Easter traditions to look forward to in the years to come!
