It's officially wedding week for Paige Drummond and big sister Alex is feeling all the feels. With just days to go until Paige ties the knot with fiancé David Andersen, Alex shared two heart-melting throwback photos that perfectly capture their lifelong bond. One shows the sisters dressed as cherubs, complete with golden props and angel wings. The other is a candid of a tiny Alex holding an even tinier Paige on the couch, with the caption: "My baby sissy is getting married 🥲" Cue the "awws!"
Alex is serving as Paige's matron of honor and, despite the distance between Dallas and Pawhuska, the two have had so much fun during all the pre-wedding festivities. From wedding dress shopping to the Charleston bachelorette weekend (which, according to Ree, included more bridesmaids than she could count) to not one but two bridal showers, the Drummond ladies have been in full celebration mode.
The wedding itself will take place at the family ranch, just like Alex and Mauricio's wedding did in back in 2021. And while the ceremony is only a few days away, the love story that led to this moment started years ago. Paige and David first met through mutual friends in college, but didn't start dating until the summer after Paige graduated. Since then, they've been to football games, concerts, the beach, the mountains, and of course, the ranch.
"David is an outdoorsy guy and he loves this lifestyle, and my parents were really welcoming," Paige shared after his first visit to her hometown. "They've always trusted me to choose a good guy, and he is!"
Ree is just as excited, even if she's (maybe, possibly) still deciding on her final dress choice. "I think we have a winner," she said recently. "Though I reserve the right to change my mind at the last minute, as I did at Alex's wedding!"
One thing is for sure: This weekend will be full of love, laughter, and plenty of happy tears. As Alex put it best, her baby sister is getting married—and the Drummond family couldn't be happier.
